What is the project about?
You can have great fun building, modifying and testing our kits. In our projects, learners can investigate key topics in the science, design & technology, engineering, art and maths curriculum’s. Learners will develop dexterity and problem solving skills whilst assembling their project.
Each month we will be focusing on a new area of learning including fun scientific practicals which bring a focus on the KS3 British curriculum. We will provide you with the necessary parts for the build and support you as much as we can with instruction manuals guiding you all the way. Our STEMbox has been tailored for ages between 8 to 14 years of age. You can start the subscription at any point during these age groups as it will have maximum impact on learning. We will issue a small monthly Magazine which will contain Fantastic Facts, Maths & Science based worksheets with answers along with a DIY Stem project that can be attempted at home.
In most cases, our projects are recyclable! This is particularly great if there are more than 1 siblings wanting to share the box. No need to subscribe to two boxes. Just dismantle the kit and start again.
All materials, components and assembly instructions are included.
What will I receive in the STEMBOX?
During the course of your subscription, we will be working with educational professionals who will be designing STEM based projects that will explore the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Coding with Ardunio boards and building robotics kits. The number of projects per month will vary depending on its complexity. Below you can see examples of the content of each box. On most occasions you will receive 2 STEM projects per month. However, sometimes this may chance. For example, in our month 4 STEMbox you will receive 3 STEM projects whereas in month 7 you will receive 1 project.
In the first 7 months of this subscription you will receive the following projects:
Month 1: Exploring electrical circuits in Physics | 10 month coding project using Arduino board part 1 (all hardware provided).
